Bringing memories to life

When was the last time you developed your photos and put them in an album? For me I know it was a while. And then one Sunday I met with a friend and we were looking at her albums and talking about how very behind we are with printing our memories and having them right there to touch, see and show like in the old days.

The next day I started to select the photos I want to put in my album. It was so much fun going through photos from our travels, captured moments and reminisce on everything we saw and did in the last few years. Having photos on your computer is amazing, because you can have tons of them, but how often do you actually go through them? I know for myself I don’t do that often and also it is so much nicer to show full album of memories to your friends and family. I selected 102 photos from our trips to Ireland with friends in 2017, our weekend getaway to Christmas markets in Prague and Cesky Krumlov, to Taiwan last year and Spain this year. So many treasured memories and now I will have them all come to life in printed photos.

I downloaded LALALAB app on my phone, because I had an amazing experience with their services in the past and it is just so convenient to select your photos, add them into app and just send an order. This time my first order got lost somewhere and they were so kind to offer to print and send them again and I got them in two days. Thank you so much LALALAB!Β

I went with regular print this time, but in the past I also tried their vintage print (polaroid style) and they are super cute as well. Beside prints they also offer photobooks, calendars, photo boxes, magnets and other amazing products. You can pay with credit card or with PayPal and they ship to so many countries.Β

I ordered 102 regular prints (10×15 cm) and because I ordered more than 100 prints I got a huge discount. One individual print is 0,39 EUR, but you can get package of 50+ prints for 0,33 EUR or package of 100+ for only 0,25 EUR and it adds up quickly! When you order you will also get a scratch where a special reward may hide.

If you use my code PGSM32CAΒ you will get 5 EUR off your first purchase and I will also receive 5 EUR for my next purchase at no extra cost to you. You will also receive your own code that you can share with your friends.

Now I just need to find a cute photo album to fill it with lovely memories!

Do you print out your photos or just keep them on your phone or computer?

  1. I love this post because I agree that printing off your photos is so much better than keeping them stored on a computer, mostly just sitting there and barely being looked at! In the past few years I’ve tried to get into a habit of printing off photos and putting them in albums, particularly if I’ve gone on a trip or done something special where I have a lot of special memories captured in photographs. Great post!! xx

    1. Thank you so much. I sometimes miss not being able to see photos before they are printed out, but then again I probably wouldn’t have any photos of myself because it takes quite few for me to be satisfy with how I look and I probably wouldn’t take hundreds of photos per day. πŸ™ˆ

  2. Yes! So True…! Beautiful post!β˜€οΈπŸŒβ˜€οΈ I do print out..every now and then. I usually make a careful selection of photos and follow my intuition. That is a very uplifting and meditative experience to me.✨

    1. That is so lovely. I tried doing that, but I just don’t have the feeling for how to make it as pretty as I want it to be. πŸ™‚ Here I just put them in album and my creativity just ends there. Maybe you just print some of your favourite ones and put them in frames or hang them around.

  3. It’s so much nicer to have your pics in printed copies! I’ve been spending a while sorting collections of pictures from my grandparents’ place and it’s got me thinking I need to start printing more pictures, purely so that I’m not so reliant on tech!

  4. Very rarely do I print out photos! Most of our photos since about 2004 are on the computer and some have made it into frames. In the digital age, we can easily forget about photo memories, and then have to scroll through hundreds and hundreds of pics! Yet if you have a physical album, it’s much easier to find!

    1. Yeah… That is so true. And it is so easy to lose those photos, it happened to me few times. I like to print some of the best ones to have in album and go through them every now and then.

  5. Totally agree printing off your photos is so much better! I have a number of photo printing apps I use and I print a handful off throughout the year to use in scrapbooks and albums – I just need to find the time to put them all together! Xx
